Day 01

WELCOME TO NOLA!

  • Arrival: Get here by 3:00 PM. Your hosts will pick you up from the airport and whisk you away to our fabulous hotel.
  • Happy Hour: Meet your new besties at a poolside happy hour at the Hotel.
  • Dinner: Enjoy a fantastic dinner at one of NOLA’s top restaurants.
  • Bourbon Street Adventure: Dive into the vibrant chaos of Bourbon Street! Eclectic shops, historic buildings, and a parade of unique characters await.
  • Late-Night Fun: Eat, drink, play all night, and sleep in—you’ve earned it!

Historical Significance: Named after the French royal family, Bourbon Street dates back to the city’s founding in 1718 and is one of the oldest streets in the French Quarter.

Vibrant Nightlife: Bourbon Street is famous for its lively nightlife, featuring an array of bars, clubs, and restaurants that stay open late, offering live music, dancing, and a party atmosphere year-round.

Cultural Melting Pot: The street showcases the cultural diversity of New Orleans, with venues offering everything from traditional jazz and blues to modern pop and hip-hop, reflecting the city’s rich musical heritage.

NOLA History & Jazz Day

  • Early AM Coffee Walk: For the early birds, start your day with a refreshing coffee walk through the vibrant streets.
  • Breakfast at the W-Hotel’s 3rd Block Depot Kitchen: Enjoy a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day.
  • French Quarter History Walking Tour: Explore the rich history of the French Quarter, topped off with a visit to the iconic Café du Monde.
  • Private Guided Jazz Tour: Dive deep into New Orleans’ jazz scene. Feel the city’s spirit and cultural diversity through live jazz performances.
  • Dinner at a Top NOLA Restaurant: Only the best dining experiences for our new besties!
  • Nightlife on Bourbon Street: Cap off your day with the electric atmosphere and endless entertainment of Bourbon Street.

Birthplace of Jazz: New Orleans is widely regarded as the birthplace of jazz. The genre emerged in the early 20th century, blending African rhythms, blues, and ragtime, and quickly became synonymous with the city’s vibrant culture.

Day 03

NOLA Fabulous Foodie Day!  Let’s Learn to cook 

Highlights

  • Morning Coffee: Kick off your day with a fantastic coffee from a beloved NOLA spot.
  • Food Walking Tour: Explore the quintessential flavors of New Orleans on a guided food tour.
  • Cooking Class: Learn to cook classic dishes at the New Orleans School of Cooking, followed by dinner.
  • Cocktails & Desserts: Indulge at the Virgin Hotel, a “must-see-to-believe” experience.
  • Goodbye Walk: Take a final stroll down Bourbon Street until next time.
  • Nightcaps: End the night with drinks at the Hotel.

Departure Day – Good Bye NOLA until we meet again

  • Last-minute walk down Royal Street and Jackson Square
